Loop Road
Depicted below is the loop road and bicycle trail located along the perimeter of the northern and eastern edges of UC Merced.
The road separates the campus from permanently preserved grasslands and features a median landscaped with low-water plantings. Massive helical wind turbines line this portion of the loop, postioned like sentinals as the Sierra Nevada rise in the distance.
